Besides private functions, I performed in many symphony and opera house orchestras, chamber music groups and as a soloist, in UK, Italy, where I come from, and abroad. I can offer a wide repertoire in different styles: classical music, folk music, Bollywood songs. Also I can play your favourite romantic song or tune.
I am available to perform wedding music in and around Oxford, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, London, for your religious or civil ceremony and
reception, as well as for Asian and Indian weddings. I can also play for receptions with classical music for other events.
Just ask for
your special tune, I'll play it for you!

Since
you are
here I'm sure you have
already thought about adding a
special
touch with live music.
I’d be very happy to help you to make your wedding even
more memorable.
Here
you can find a list of works
suitable for the civil and religious wedding ceremony and reception,
also photos
of some weddings where I played and music samples to listen
to. You'll see that wedding music on the viola is suitable for any wedding, especially if yours is in a small
venue or with a small group of guests or you don't want to spend a lot
with many players. Having one solo player is a way of saving on wedding
music.
Even
before your wedding, I am available to play for you a sort of
pre-wedding music in Oxford and surrounding areas. You can have music
played when you propose to your
girlfriend,
or for Saint Valentine's
day or another special occasion! Surprise her with her favourite tune, maybe in an
unusual location like this one in the photo below, like I was asked to do,
London's
Trafalgar Square, and see her reaction!

As the guests arrive
These
pieces are to entertain your friends and family as they gather in the
church or ceremony hall, so here's a selection of calm, solemn melodies.
(*not allowed during civil ceremonies, can be played before and after)
The Bridal procession
Signing of the Register/Communion
Recession
These are suggestions only, you can
choose to have the same pieces or other ones performed at different
times during the
ceremony.
The music works listed above are traditionally the most popular wedding music pieces, commonly requested, although several times I've been asked to play different music by someone who wanted something more personal, for example the tune that the groom was playing when they first met. Real examples were Sally Gardens, The land of my fathers.
Be
yours either a religious or civil wedding, it's important to create
an atmosphere of
something Grand taking place, before the actual ceremony starts. That's
the purpose of music played to welcome your guests as they arrive and
take their seats, before the ceremony starts. It will entertain them
with some quite solemn
music,
also calm enough to help many people relax their nerves.
For your wedding reception the choice of music is much broader and freer. Have a look and see how the tunes listed below could be your wedding reception music too, from famous classical music to folk. Watch this video or click on the names to listen to music samples.

"Dear Monica,
we just wanted to thank you again for having played at our wedding, contributing to make the ceremony such a special event!
All guests agreed that you created a fantastic atmosphere, bringing beautiful music in the room with a great performance both in terms of selection and delivery. We'd also like to thank you for having been such a nice person to talk during the pre-wedding arrangements, which gave us confidence that everything would have been good according to plans.
All the best for the future!
Kind Regards,
